The engagement

More than a marketing launch.

Virtual MD came to NIKA before entering the market. We worked across the SaaS product, website, application, design, in-app communication and customer acquisition to prepare the platform for its first real launch.

The objective was not simply to generate traffic. It was to create a health product people could understand, trust and return to.

The challenge

A new product in a category where trust is everything.

Virtual MD needed to earn adoption for an AI-powered health advisor while navigating skepticism, language differences and highly reactive user behavior.

01

No previous market validation

The product had not launched, so the team had no proven acquisition or messaging system.

02

Low trust in medical AI

Technology alone was not a compelling reason for people to seek health guidance.

03

Market-specific behavior

Demand, language and access to healthcare varied significantly by region.

04

Product and growth had to align

Advertising could not scale unless the website and app converted interest into usage.

“Users were not looking for an AI diagnosis. They wanted clarity, reassurance and understandable next steps.”
Investor-led market entry

Launching Virtual MD in the Philippines.

The Philippine market was a strategic priority requested by the project’s investors. NIKA’s role was to analyze the audience and translate that direction into a viable go-to-market strategy.

We studied market context, access to healthcare, user concerns, language patterns and digital behavior to determine how the product should be positioned and acquired.

What the market entry required

  • Audience and market demand analysis
  • Localization for language and cultural context
  • Trust-led messaging for an AI health product
  • Testing symptom-based acquisition angles
  • Channel validation across Meta, Google, TikTok and email
  • Continuous feedback between acquisition and product decisions
What NIKA did

We built the product and the growth system around it.

Every part of the journey — from the first ad to the in-app experience — had to reinforce trust and make the next action clear.

01

Product and audience analysis

Analyzed use cases, audience barriers, priority markets and behaviors influencing adoption and repeat usage.

02

Website development

Refined the journey, product explanation, trust signals and conversion path toward registration.

03

Application improvements

Supported product features, interface decisions, design, in-app messaging and notification logic.

04

Go-to-market strategy

Built positioning, market priorities, communication, launch hypotheses and the initial channel mix.

05

Content and Instagram

Developed 105+ symptom-led concepts and a high-frequency short-form content engine.

06

Paid acquisition

Tested Meta, Google, TikTok and email, then optimized the strongest acquisition path.

Positioning shift

We led with clarity, not technology.

The strategic insight changed how the product was communicated across the website, application, content and advertising.

Technology-first message
“AI doctor in your pocket.”

Attention-grabbing, but difficult to trust in a sensitive medical context.

→
Trust-first message
“Medical clarity, explained simply and calmly.”

Focused on the real outcome: understandable guidance and practical next steps.

Acquisition result
$0.70

Cost per registered user.

Facebook became the primary scalable acquisition channel, delivering the strongest combination of cost efficiency, audience relevance and user engagement.

Google Ads, TikTok Ads, email and other channels also produced positive signals, but Meta became the core engine for the first stage of growth.

Several months of audience, creative and format experimentation turned an unvalidated acquisition model into a repeatable growth channel.

The outcome

What NIKA helped Virtual MD build.

The result was not one campaign. It was the foundation required to bring a pre-launch SaaS product into a real market.

Market launch

Virtual MD entered the Philippine market for the first time during the engagement with NIKA.

Product improvement

Website, application features, notifications, messaging and design were refined around adoption.

Efficient acquisition

Meta campaigns reached a cost of $0.70 per registered user.

Growth infrastructure

Content, social media and paid channels were connected into one market-entry system.

We did not simply market Virtual MD. We helped bring it to market.

Your growth challenge

Building a SaaS product with demand — but no predictable growth system?

We identify what is limiting acquisition, activation and retention, then connect product and marketing into one accountable growth system.
